Plano's City Council tabled an ordinance Monday that would prohibit vehicles from being parked too close to mailboxes. Plano police would not enforce the ordinance unless they receive a complaint.. Federal regulations already prohibit mailboxes from being blocked.
During this time, the following restrictions will be in place for drivers: There can be a maximum of one non-related passenger under the age of 21 in a vehicle. There can be no driving between midnight and 5:00 a.m. There can be no use, including hands-free, of any mobile device.
Drivers learn through behind-the-wheel experiences, combined with an instructor-narrated drive demonstrating techniques to more safely navigate through traffic and avoid the most common types of collisions. This training is based on simple, straightforward concepts that are easy to apply and remember.
7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
According to Patterson's presentation, the city's current daytime noise restrictions cover 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and limit noise for commercial and mixed use entities to 70 decibels or 10 decibels above the background noise level, whichever is lower.
